Casa Madrona Hotel & Spa is located in the heart of historic downtown Sausalito. The historic property is the centerpiece of the upscale hamlet north of San Francisco, just across the Golden Gate Bridge. Casa Madrona is located just above Richardson Bay, commanding breathtaking views of the sailboats of Sausalito, Richardson Bay, and the hills of Belvedere beyond. The boutique hotel is a short drive from the Napa and Sonoma wine countries and a fifteen-minute drive from downtown San Francisco.

The property offers 63 guest accommodations including 22 "Hillside Cottages," many with private decks, fireplaces and San Francisco Bay views, 10 "Victorian rooms" located atop the property, within the historic William Barrett Mansion, and 31 "Contemporary rooms" in a newly renovated wing designed with a contemporary bayside décor.
In 2010 and 2011, Casa Madrona underwent a multi-million dollar renovation. As of June 2011, 46 guest rooms were renovated and the remaining 17 guest rooms are scheduled to be completed by winter of 2011. The interior design by Truex-Cullins Interiors incorporated modern design amenities while retaining its historic charm.

Hillside Cottages
These newly renovated cottages provide spacious accommodations with stunning San Francisco Bay views. Furnished with a contemporary modern design which embraces its historic charm, these cottages are accented with mahogany furniture, recycled glass shelving, and polished chrome fixtures. All cottages feature king size poster beds and spa quality bath amenities. Many have balconies and authentic wood burning fireplaces.
Contemporary Rooms
The contemporary rooms boast high ceilings, a four poster king-size bed, and luxurious bathrooms with over sized soaking tubs. Some are loft style with the upstairs bedroom area accessible by stairs. Some of these have balconies and overlook Richardson Bay with while some face the tranquil garden Courtyard.

SPA:
The hotel's new 3,000 square-foot Spa at Casa Madrona focuses on the restorative and life-giving power of water therapy through an extensive treatment menu and nourishing products from the bay. The Spa was renovated in June 2011.
The menu for The Spa at Casa Madrona is designed around the concept of the Four Elements. Ancient wisdoms described the world and everything in it as being composed of differing proportions of the elements: Earth, Fire, Air and Water. For this menu we have renamed the elements to reflect our unique location: Shore (Earth), Sun (Fire), Wind (Air), and Sea (Water). Healers understand that by bringing these four elements into balance within ourselves, harmony, happiness, and optimal health can be maintained. Our skilled therapists use four distinct and unique blends of aromatic botanicals - each representing the four elements - which will guide you to a place of healing, relaxation and renewal.
The Spa menu of services includes massages, body therapies, skin therapies and nail care.

With approximately 4,000 square feet of flexible event space, Casa Madrona is a splendid destination for meetings and events - especially corporate retreats against the backdrop of the world's most romantic cityscape.
- Salone Grande, premier San Francisco meeting space, with three sections for up to 40 guests for a seated banquet, or 60 guests for a standing reception; can also be opened into one large space to accommodate up to 100 guests for a seated banquet, or up to 150 for a standing reception.
